Post a Vacancy allows you to:

  • Post a vacancy for candidates to apply to (Posting is Free)
  • Post an anonymous vacancy for sensitive vacancies or fee splitting (Free)

Search CV's :

  • Keyword and Phrase searches with Boolean operators
  • Set up auto-matches for Email or RSS alerts so Recruitment Exchange works while you rest.
  • Find local candidates with postcode proximity search
  • Do quick or advanced candidate searches.
  • Search for Permanent, Contract or Temporary staff, you can also look at the candidates diary to see when they are and are not available for work or interveiws.
  • Candidates can be rated which is predominantly designed for contract and temporary candidates; they can also rate you. Both parties can post replies to any comments/ratings left (similar to e-bay feedback, for you e-bayers out there)
  • We ask candidates to state their motivation to move from 1-5 so you have an idea who is just looking and who's desperate to move.

Search Professional Blogs:

  • Professional blogs are searched in the same way as CV's are searched.  Recruitment Exchange recommends jobseekers link their professional blog  to their CV so that it is 'keyword' and 'phrase' searched automatically with CV searches, ensuring no relevant information is overlooked.
  • Professional blogs are designed to hold any additional information that candidates feel may be relevant to an employer:
    • CV variations
    • Testimonials
    • Images/Portfolios for design roles e.g. Civil Engineers, Web Designers etc.

The decision whether to link the CV and blog is the candidates and some candidates may decide not to link them, some may only create a blog or only create a CV, if you want to be 100% sure that no-one is missed you should Search CV's and Professional Blogs separately.

Create a Corporate Micro-site:

  • If you want to have your own mini website (micro-site) on Recruitment Exchange its easy to request on registration or contact us now.
  • You can directly promote your company to candidates with links to and from your Recruitment Exchange vacancies and a 'Send CV's here' option plus much more...
  • If you want to show the human/personal side to your company you can create a Company Blog (we can build it for you upon request), you can then link your Company Blog and Corporate Micro-Site to show both sides of your organisation.

Create a Company Blog:

  • Companies like jobseekers can create their own Company blogs, free! that show the human side to their company.  This can allow jobseekers to get to know the personal side to their potential bosses or hear from the current employees e.g. 'Ten Great Things about working for (your company name) that you won't read in the Job Specification' etc.  Company blogs can also join in Recruitment Exchange sector and help forums.  You can discuss/highlight current issues in your sector and show you are an authority in your sector or just network.

Diary Options (free diary and alerts, whos available? when?):

  • Recruitment Exchange provides all users with an online diary tool to make private and public entries. Employers can use the diaries to see when candidates are and are not available for work or interview, this is particularly useful for Temporary or Contract staff.  You can also search for candidates that you have used before by their ID no. so you can ensure you always get the candidate you want.  You can also use the diary tool to schedule interviews and visits with dates, times and alarm reminders etc.  Upon request we can market events into candidate diaries e.g. 'XYZ company open day' etc.

Consultancies Widgets:

The Vacancy Widget:

The Vacancy Widget is an Affiliate/Referral widget that allows your vacancies to be shown on our affiliates websites and blogs.  This gives you an unlimited reach throughout the internet to other specialist/niche sites that may not normally be associated with recruitment.

How does it work?

  1. You set up a 'Referrals Account' on Recruitment Exchange and purchase an amount of credits you are comfortable with e.g. £100. You will then be charged on a Pay Per Click or Pay Per Action basis (or both) depending on your selections e.g.
    • you may be charged £1.50 per referral with Pay Per Click Referrals and
    • £5.50 per referral with Pay Per Action Referrals (the action in this case is the referral leaving their name and a verified email address, thereby providing you with a qualified prospect at a minimal cost).
    • Once your £100 is gone you will not be charged any more and will be notified your account is empty. This is an extremely cost effective way to gain referrals of passive candidates and in theory is free - no referrals no charge!
  2. Decide what vacancies you want to enable for Affiliate/Referral Sites.

o       Do you want to allow all websites and blogs to advertise your vacancies?

o       Do want to limit what sites can advertise your vacancies by making a selection from the Recruitment Exchange Referrals Directory?

o       Do you want to do both?

o       How is both different to all?

The difference comes from the pricing of PPC and PPA. If you select ato allow all our affiliates to show your vacancies you will only be charged the Recruitment Exchanges standard PPC and PPA fees by the sites that choose to advertise your vacancies (directory entry is irrelevant).

If you select specific Websites and Blogs from the Referrals Directory that you want to advertise your vacancies they set their own PPC and PPA fees (which are clearly shown).  In addition to your selections from the directory you can still select 'all' and allow standard fee charging affilliates as well, you pay these sites the set Recruitment Exchange Fees, it's your choice.

Set up a Referrals account now>

*Recruitment Exchange retains 25% of PPC and PPA referral fees for development and overhead.

Create an online Preferred Supplier List (PSL):

On Recruitment Exchange you have the facility to create an unlimited number of PSL's from the RE Directory.  You can then decide if you want to post vacancies out to all agencies interested in working on them,  just your PSL'S or just a selected number of your PSL's.  For example as you can create unlimited PSL's you may just have a PSL of agencies you like working with or have separate PSL's for each industry sector that you recruit for e.g.

show to:

  • My Accountancy PSL
  • My Banking PSL etc

Set up my PSL's now.

Recruitment Exchange Directories:

The Recruitment Exchange has two directories:

  1. The RE Directory- this is a directory of all Consultancies that wish to make themselves available for PSL lists.  Employers use this directory to build their PSL's and all Employers wanting to make their company available for jobseekers PSL lists. It also acts as a micr-site search as each listing has a link to that companies micro-site.
  2. The RE Affiliates/Referrers Directory - this directory contains a list of
Affiliate/Referral sites that you can select specifically as sites you would like to advertise your vacancies via our Affiliate/Referral Widget
    .

Create your own PSL's:

By using the RE Directory you can build your own Preferred Supplier List's of companies whom you are willing to allow to work on your vacancies.
